There are still people like that...

Mum and Dad often tells me how hard life was during the olden days and yah.. i will be telling myself.. that is because that era is the after war period.. everyone is poor and everyone is struggling... there is only 10% population that has enough money to live by... so .. no big deal.. but when i was in primary school, i went to Convent.. a good school where my friends are all the children of lawyers, doctors, teachers... i began to wonder.. where are the children of hawkers? maybe.. hawkers don't have children...
Then when i step into secondary school.. my network of friends now includes those in selesa jaya.. so this is where hawkers' children are! it is then that i began to see that the community still consists of poor people.. then... i went to Klang during CNY and there is this relative which i dont know who.. he goes to my aunt's house to eat dinner everyday.. and it seems to me that he is rather poor thing.. he wanted to have a drink after dinner while i was washing the dishes and i didn't know.. he went to the wet kitchen and turn on the tap and he just drank tap water!! i got a shock! its not filtered water... but just plain tap water.. but i did fill a bottle of drinking water for him after that..... all of this just proved to me that there a re still people like that.. now.. but God still cares for them...
