This year's camp was a great one.. partly because quite few people came (compared to last year's) and maybe because there are good facilities..
Few testimonies on how God has helped me throughout this camp
1. When Ps. Daniel Ross ask those who know their calling to stand up as he listed out the different areas God is going to put his people. I was quite unsure about what I wanted to be.. When he called out politics, I didn't even had time to think whether I should stnad, and there I was standing already! I felt as if God wanted me to be in politics.. That was a good assurance for my future.. ^^
2. When I was bathing, I took out my watch and I left it at a place where it won't be wet, and obviously, I forgot to take it out after I took my bath.. And I didn't even realize it was missing.. the disadvantage of having too many watches.. But God led me into that very same bathroom a few hours later and I saw my watch there! Praise God!
3. On the second day, we played Captain Ball.. A few groups combine to form a clan la.. and I was in Clan 3.. When I was playing the role of a catcher...And while they were playing, I was praying... praying to God that Clan 3 will win.. although its just a game, but I just want to have the feeling of victory.. And guess what? All the balls that touched my hand... didn't slip out of my hand.. I caught every ball that was thrown to me (except for 1,when we were against clan 2/clan1 I can't remember cause it was beyond my reach )scoring 11-8 when we were against the Outcast Clan for 1st place.. Prasise God! Whenever I pray, God answers!!
4. On the third day, I was totally drenched out.. I had no more energy to do anything but to sleep.. But we were suppose to be having pool games on that very day.. Reluctantly, I went to gather before the pool gaems.. It was impossible for them to cancel it beacuse everyone was so excited for the pool games.. but guess what? God sent the rain! AAAHHHH!! even before I pray He already knows what I need! Amen! God is just so good... God really is GOOD!!
5. When we were loading our stuff onto the bus, Sioe Ling looked frantic.. I asked her why and she told me she lost her cellphone.. She is so dead!! When I went up the bus, I didn't stop praying for her to find her cell.. And.. when we reached Klang, Amanda said that she found her cell in the dorm! Praise God!
GY was a great camp! It was fun, cool, amazing... one of the best camps I've ever been to.. Made a lot of new friends.. Oh ya.. I didn't sleep throughout the journey home as I was chatting with Charles (Mr. Banker).. We were getting to know each other.. and talked about lots of general stuff.. He loves God and I've got to learn a lot from people like that.. Thank God for letting me know these people through camp^^
